A much improved performance after the Merseyside match, from a numerically stronger and more confident squad. Cheshire trailed 0-1 soon after the start, but equalised with a fine goal from Dan Shaw after a brilliant 5-man passing move which started in our own half. Midway through the second half Callum Freeman struck an angled drive beyond the keeper to put us 2-1 ahead and then Dan Shaw fired home an unstoppable shot from close range for 3-1. Lancashire pulled a goal back with 10 minutes left and keeper O'Regan made a match-winning save with just a few minutes left when he deflected a goal-bound effort onto the post .
